Chief Compliance Officer
Cari has worked with Towle & Co. since 2018 and also serves as a director for Outsourced Compliance Group. She is an experienced financial service professional, compliance consultant and outsourced CCO to investment advisor clients, including wealth managers and institutional asset managers to separate accounts, and private and registered funds. With over 25 years of experience in compliance, operations, and client service, she develops and administers effective compliance programs and works to solve complex regulatory issues.
Prior to joining Outsourced Compliance Group, Cari was a Managing Director with Hardin Compliance Consulting, before the Firm sold its business to Foreside Financial, which merged with ACA Group in 2022. Additionally, she previously was CCO for a SEC registered investment adviser and held other IA compliance and operational leadership roles, including head of operations and fund services.
Cari received a BA in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management, Schaumberg, Illinois.
CFA® is a designation issued by the CFA Institute. To earn the designation, candidates must pass three course exams, each requiring approximately 250 hours of self-study, and have completed four years of qualifying work experience. Chartered Financial Analyst® and CFA® are registered trademarks owned by the CFA Institute. FRM® is an accreditation offered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP) that certifies the understanding of risk management concepts that are validated by international professional standards. To earn the accreditation, candidates must pass two levels of exams, requiring on average about 240 hours of self-study, and have completed two years of qualifying work experience in the field of financial risk management.
